Utility Rate Change and New Garbage Collection Rates

Effective October 20, 2023 new utility rates will go into effect. In addition, Waste Collections has notified the City that new garbage collections rates will take effect by the end of the year. The utility rates, depending on load, type of service and usage will be increasing approximately 5%.
Drought Conservation Plan Activated

The City of Goldthwaite has declared a Stage 1 Conservation request in accordance with its Drought Contingency Plan. All citizens are requested to conserve water. We appreciate your assistance with saving water. Our stored water volumes slightly below 50% requiring this request. We will continue to monitor this situation and may take additional steps in accordance with our Plan.

The City of Goldthwaite has ordinances governing the upkeep and care of properties located in the City. Yards must be kept free of overgrown vegetation and free from debris and trash. Junk cars need to be removed and any other unsightly debris or material properly disposed of. The City, thru, Waste Connections, provides for bulk pick up. Contact City Hall for further information.
ON-LINE BILL PAY NOW AVAILABLE

Utility Customers may now pay their bills on-line with a valid credit card. There is a 3% service fee. You must have your account number and know the amount due. This information is available on the utility bill.
